Well, basically, this page is about my channel on irc.whahay.net, and how to join it.

Well first of all, you'll need an IRC client. It dosen't matter which one you use, but I prefer mIRC. So anyways, start up mIRC. There will be a window that pops up, asking for a nickname and etc. Fill it out, and for the IRC server, choose irc.whahay.net (if you can't connect there, connect to rift.lomag.net). If it's not on the dropdown list (It probably isn't) add it, by clicking "add."

After connecting, there will be a status window, and words will start flying out. Ignore it. In the message box (where you type), type /join #spam (where #spam is the channel you're joining). And there you are.

Also, if you have IRC open and you don't want to type in all that stuff, just click here to connect. (You need to have IRC open)

Basic mIRC commands
/me [action] - Typing this will show the text as * Nickname ACTION, instead of WORDS
/join #[channel] - Typing this will allow you to join a certain channel, where [channel] is the channel. Remember that all channels must begin with a hash symbol (#).
/part #[channel] [Reason] - Typing this will let you exit a certain channel, followed by a message.
/quit REASON - Typing this will close mIRC, with a reason. It will show up as * Nickname has quit IRC (Quit: REASON).
/nick [nickname] - Typing this will change your nickname to whatever you typed after it.
/ns register PASSWORD EMAIL - This will register your nickname, so that others can't use your nickname. (well, only for 1 minute)

Channel status
These are the basic mIRC channel status things.
@Nickname - Anybody with a @ next to their name is an op, or operator. They have total power over the channel, so beware what you do, or they can kick you.
%Nickname - Anyone with a % next to their name is a halfop, which is like an op, but have limited powers.
+Nickname - Anyone with a + next to their name has voice (+v). If +m is on (moderation), only people with voice can talk.

I think that's all, unless I missed some stuff.
